I tried updating the app but no luck. This happened with several episodes. You can't even forward to other scenes.. It'll bring you back to the previous regardless. My experience is pathetic. Over the last 3 months I am getting frequent black screens for my sports channels without any video and only audio. Inspite of several complaints the matter hasn't been resolved at all. Everytime I am asked for certain information and documents which I have mailed on several occasions.

After doing so the issue is solved for a brief period 2 to 3 days naximum but again hoping back to the same problem. I really don't know whether I shall continue with my subscription. Hotstar app should have the basic feature of playback speeds atleast till 2x speed. Even though I have paid for premium, I may still end up watching shows on torrent because I'd rather finish an episode in 25 minutes instead of I can't sit through one episode also. Netflix and youtube has change speed options, even illegal sites have them.
